Weve probably made the switch pretty effectively in the U.S., but somewhat neglected our international brother from a management perspective."
In the Mendoza interview, the Network Appliance President discussed the companys market share and the growth of the storage market. "Well, the entire storage segment is growing at 30%. Of course, its a very large number so 30% is a huge growth factor, but network attach storage, which is a segment that we address, which means many people putting different types of data, being able to address it from one platform," said Mendoza. "If you have PCs or workstations from any vendor, you can put your storage all in one place and address it. That segments called network attached storage. Its growing at about a 70% annual rate and we currently have about a 61% market share of a $900 Million market."
