#1 RATED CAREER PORTAL VAULT.COM CAREER CHANNEL ON AMERICA WEST AIRLINES
NEW YORK, New York April 17th, 2001 Air travel just got a little more interesting now that Vault.com and Sky Radio Network have launched "The Career Channel" in-flight radio program on America West Airlines.
"The Career Channel by Vault.com," is in its second run and features entertaining interviews and conversations with a variety of famous and acclaimed personalities who cover everything from career tips and management trends to getting ahead and water cooler gossip.
During the April/May program, listeners were treated to candid and off the cuff conversations with such people as Seth Godin, contributing writer for The Industry Standard, Fast Company and author of "Permission Marketing" and Sergio Zyman, CEO of Zyman Marketing Group and Coca-Cola fame, who share their personal experiences on the best way to build a personal brand at work.
"People always pay extra attention to people with the strongest personalities," says Zyman. "You need to decide what you stand for, what you want and who you are before people will follow. Much like a product, many times the employee with the strongest brand moves up the fastest."
"Were really excited about this because it allows us to reach millions of business executives and to broaden the reach of Vault.com," said Vault.coms CEO Eric Ober. "We extremely pleased to be working with Sky Radio to help deliver insightful, relevant career content to air travelers."
"This program is a win-win for everyone," said Marc Holland, CEO of Sky Radio. "Our 1.2+ million business executives get a fun, career oriented radio program, America West gets a strong show sponsored by the leading career portal, and Vault.com gains an opportunity to extend its brand to millions of executive business travelers per month."
"The Career Channel" is scheduled to run through July 2001. The program is available through Vault.com as well as in partnership with Sky Radio Network, at http://www.skyradionet.com.
In addition to Sergio Zyman and Seth Godin, the spring/summer line up includes Charles Schwab, Pete Rose, Ben Stein, John Challenger, Brenda Cooper of E! Television's Fashion Emergency, Dr. Dana Ardi, Industry Standard Columnist and Human Capital Partner of Flatiron Partners, Matthew Szulik, CEO of Red Hat and Kathleen Donovan, the VP of Human Resources for Pfizer.
