CEO Live Web Site Will Have A Whole New Look
Huge Growth in Traffic and Overwhelming Interest from Guests Compel Site Re-Design
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA April 3, 2000 CEO Live, the premier audio webzine for and about chief executives in technology companies, today launched a revamped web site to include more features and faster access. The site, at www.ceolive.com, has received overwhelming response in the two months since its launch.
"Weve been simply amazed at the response," said Marc Holland, President and CEO of CEO Live. "The reaction from visitors and potential guests alike has been overwhelmingly positive."
The site, launched in February, had featured a magazine format, rich in complex graphics and animations. Through visitor feedback, Holland determined that some visitors were experiencing long load times, due to the graphic-intense design and high traffic. The site is being redesigned to reduce load times while allowing additional new features.
The new site will include a section called Quickies" short comments from several CEOs on a given topic, such as the essence of leadership, managing change, motivating and keeping employees, and more. The section will also include comments from CEOs on the chief executives they admire most. Also featured will be the CEO Minute, succinct comments from technology leaders on their businesses, and the CEO Death Match, an entertaining look at some hypothetical business match-ups.
To date, CEO Live has featured interviews with such leaders as Jim Kelly of UPS (NYSE:UPS), Magic Johnson, CEO of Magic Johnson Enterprises, Andrew Sukawaty, CEO of Sprint PCS (NYSE:PCS); Stratton Sclavos, CEO of VeriSign (Nasdaq:VRSN); Michael Bloomberg and many more.
